As I left Dallas, bound for Papua New Guinea via Australia, after a recent trip to the US, I thought this was a fitting sight to see as I said goodbye. There was a storm coming, and as the orange sun sank into the horizon, it plunged every surface into a reflection of this brilliant colour.

Beautiful shot!

The pic looks nice. Rebecca, when you have the chance to travel again, I suggest you spend a few days in Noumea. I just returned from there. Someone describes it as little Paris.
Thanks Thomas! I have been to New Caledonia, but only for a few days and it was for work so didn’t get much chance to explore.
Dallas to PNG! The Sounds awesome! I have always wanted to go to PNG. I hope you write a lot about. Maybe hangout with some gun wielding tribes and such.
