Photo of the Week: Fishing in the Mekong

As were getting off the boat that had taken us through the Mekong, we saw this man fishing in the shallows of the river. The Mekong is such an important river system throughout this part of Asia; there are so many houses beside and even on the river, all relying on it for their livelihoods and food.

I’ve wanted to see the Mekong since I was a kid. And now I’m going to Vietnam in a few days, so that’s going to be a dream come true
